The wait for mammography results has been reduced over the past year from an average of 30 to 40 days to a range of five to ten days currently. This improvement has been made possible thanks to the implementation of new organisational measures, the incorporation of new technologies and increased staffing at the Provincial Unit of Radiodiagnosis and Breast Cancer.
These measures now enable specialists to provide a comprehensive, homogeneous approach with better results in detection and response times across the whole of Córdoba territory.
